Stage ready uke with a purpose: When Julia Michaels and Lanikai began collaboration on a signature ukulele, the goal was to not only deliver a high-quality instrument Lanikai is known for, but also to provide fans with the exact ukulele played by Julia on stages around the world while helping those in need. For this reason, a portion of the proceeds for every Julia Michaels signature ukulele is donated to “To Write Love On Her Arms,” an important non-profit organization dedicated to presenting hope and helping people struggling with addiction, self-harm, and depression.
The Julia Michaels signature tenor ukulele is packed with Lanikai quality and features. It has a glossy white pearl painted top, back and sides, is highlighted with black body and fingerboard binding, and an abalone rosette and purfling. In addition, it has a wide comfortable neck profile, open back Grover® tuners with black buttons, NuBone XB® nut and saddle, a deluxe padded bag. The electric model is equipped with a Fishman® Kula preamp with a tuner.
